回复 :满田拓也所著的棒球漫画「MAJOR(棒球大联盟)」，从1994年开始在「周刊少年Sunday」上连载至今，已经出版了74卷单行本，是「周刊少年Sunday」里单行本卷数最多的长篇漫画。作品讲述了主人公・茂野吾郎，历经少棒联盟与高中棒球时代，进入美国大联盟挑战的成长历程。根据本作改编的TV动画从2004年起在NHK教育电视台播放，自此基本每年都会推出一季，接续09年初的第5季的大联盟篇和世界杯篇，第6季已确定在2010年4月3日播放。相比起其他热播中的长篇动画，「棒球大联盟」的分季制作相信更能让多数观众接受，一来可以忠实于原作漫画避免靠原创剧情拖时间，二来观众也不会因长期追看而产生视觉疲劳。
