回复 :波士顿郊外的新英格兰，一幢古老的房子废弃破败。传说很久之前，一位名叫弗莱德斯坦的科学家住在这里，他曾抓狂杀害自己的妻女，从此变成了一个吃人肉为生的恐怖僵尸，存活已有上百年。虽然这些传说有些荒诞无稽，但这幢房子却是散发着不祥的气息，诸多居住于此的人最终都遭遇了不幸。因工作的缘故，小男孩鲍伯（Giovanni Frezzi 饰）随父母搬到弗莱德斯坦博士的房子里。此搬入那天开始，怪事及恐怖事件便接连发生。而鲍伯的父亲（Paolo Malco 饰）在研究疯狂科学家的生平时，也逐渐发现了其中的秘密……
回复 :When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money. Very upsetting indeed, all the more as they are required to keep up the Kéraudren estate in the meantime. To collect money, nephews and nieces organize a Son et Lumière show at the manor while busily looking for the missing corpse. But, unexpectedly, they get killed in turns. Murders or accidents? Jean-Marie, his fiancée Micheline and his cousin Edwige investigate and finally succeed in exposing the culprit. And, the count's body being found by chance, all goes back to normal.
