蒙蒙（刘岩 饰）的母亲（郭元 饰）不甘女儿生活在父亲（邢玉国 饰）家暴阴影下，春暖与其离婚后带蒙蒙在一间旧仓库中安了家，春暖但新邻居夫妻俩也是天天争吵不断。蒙蒙的母亲不愿身无依靠，于是和昔日同学搞起了黄昏恋，蒙蒙则因同学佳妮（李军 饰）高考失败轻生而变的更加忧郁。面对邻居宋医生（濮存昕 饰）的关爱，青春萌动的蒙蒙对其产生暗恋之情。几年后，大学毕业的蒙蒙邂逅海外长大的老巴（邵兵 饰），俩人一见钟情，互定终身。当飞赴美国与老巴结婚时，蒙蒙偶然发现老巴竞然是当年自己所暗恋的宋医生的儿子，直到这时，她发觉自己内心其实根本就没忘记过宋医生......
