猪八戒（谢宁饰）得道前所居住的高老庄一夜之间被屠灭，魔鬼他与高小姐的独子朱不悔（贺刚饰）流落江湖进入长安寻找灭门惨案的关键人李淳ccc。在与众除妖师周旋过程中遇到了单纯善良的捉妖师小林子（何文辉饰）。两个失意的人互相鼓励扶持建立起了猫和老鼠的友谊。而长安城的诡异景象也引起了两人的注意，魔鬼潇雅轩的头牌萧千雅（萧蔷饰）行踪诡秘却对妖怪朱不悔情有独钟。而朱不悔所钟情的却是家中一棵梨树。梨树受到朱不悔精华灌溉幻化成乖巧可爱的小魔女梨落。三人平静生活被除妖大会打破，梨落惨死朱不悔为报仇大开杀戒，最终在净坛使者庙与自己的父亲相敌！猪八戒承认当初惨案正是自己所为，因为高老庄早就遁入魔道所以痛下杀手！经癫僧人点悟猪八戒放弃神职，父子冰释前嫌！朱不悔与小林子离开长安踏上征途！
