回复 :一九四五年，在日本侵略者覆灭前夕，大西北某荒僻偏远的边沿县境内，在群山起伏的大山脚下的曹家沟，猎户曹昌久与枪为伴，终日出没于山林之中。他深爱着因父亲抽大烟而沦落风尘的漂亮女子白秀秀。秀秀虽也深爱着曹昌久，但自感为娼，身不由己，始终不吐口。老鹰山上的匪首曹雷公看上了靠山庄的标致女子青凤，要强娶其为“压寨夫人”。青凤一家无奈之下找到白秀秀出主意，秀秀将青凤说给昌久，昌久初时坚决不允，后经秀秀几番恳求、苦劝，才勉强答应。谁知隔墙有耳，这话被曹家沟的保长曹金贵的媳妇儿翠竹听到。这翠竹是个火辣辣漂亮的女人，虽说已是三十多岁，却依然风韵楚楚，而她的男人曹金贵却是个大她二十多岁、龌龊无能“连太监都不如的东西”。自嫁给曹保长后，便被其牢牢地霸占着，丧失了女人应有的权力，昌久这条浑身散发着阳刚之气的汉子便自然占据了她的心。

回复 :Detective Murdoch finds that the man behind a flying machine that crashes in Toronto is none other than his old nemesis, James Pendrick. He learns that Pendrick is hoping to win a $1 million prize for the first controlled flight. A body is found in the rubble of the crash but someone is clearly out to steal his invention. Murdoch also has to deal with Ottawa-based spymaster Terence Meyers who says it's all a national security matter. Meanwhile, Julia returns from Vienna intent on practicing psychiatry. She's also hoping to have her marriage to D'Arcy annulled.
