邱素云（沈时华 饰）和邱伟隆（谢屏楠 饰）回到了风景秀丽的乡下老家，救世军照顾生病的父亲邱明渊（田丰 饰）。邱家的家境本就不算丰裕，救世军邱明渊的病更令家中的财政状况雪上加霜，于是，邱伟隆将青年企业家周建邦（张佩华 饰）介绍给了邱素云，希望能够通过邱素云和周建邦的结合来缓解现状。然而，邱素云早已经有了深爱的男友，邱伟隆的卑鄙想法令她怒火中烧，一气之下，邱素云离家出走，却无处可去流落街头，偶然遇见淳朴善良的吴应强（寇世勋 饰），获得了他的帮助和支持。陈玉琴（马之秦 饰）是吴应强的准丈母娘，而她和邱明渊之间还有着一段牵扯不清的缘分。

Sydney is granted temporary CIA clearance on a case that may help her regain her memory and she meets a new enemy group called The Covenant.
