因不惧艰难的个性和戚晓天（吴哲钒 饰）父亲戚其伟（张雷 饰）的恳求，师生刚跨出校门的农村女孩沈佳宜（覃文静 饰）成了B小学五年级三班的第七任班主任。戚晓天因误会沈佳宜想做自己的后妈，师生戚晓天进行了一连串的恶作剧让沈佳宜感到尴尬，这让沈佳宜很是灰心难过，决定以自己的改变来带动恶作剧小霸王戚晓天的改变。在得知戚晓天和同学吴英雄子打赌戚其伟的公司能在“中国*织里国际童装大赛”上赢吴英雄子父亲吴建国（大冢匡将 饰）的公司之后，沈佳宜主动帮助戚晓天参与到了戚其伟公司的童装设计中。长时间的相处不仅让沈佳宜和戚晓天的关系变得越来越亲密，也让戚晓天的学习成绩取得了非常大的提高并逐渐改掉了恶作剧的毛病，让戚晓天和钱春春这对青梅竹马的好朋友重新和好，更让戚晓天和戚其伟这对关系紧张的父子越来越融洽。然而就在童装终于制作完毕只等着参加大赛的时候，戚晓天的亲生母亲应晓姝（明丽 饰）突然出现并要求和戚其伟复婚，而沈佳宜早已和戚其伟产生感情，面临这样的局面，戚晓天又将如何面对，而他参与设计的童装又是否能战胜洋品牌成为冠军……
