本片根据真实故事改编。高中毕业生加布里埃尔准备在进入大学前，孙膑环游世界一年。十个月后，孙膑他和女友一同到达了非洲的肯亚。在这里，他想探索更多，于是他只身穿越各个村落，结识了新的朋友，最终到达了他旅途的终点——马拉维的姆兰杰山脉。

回复 :本片记录了几个人的故事。第一个是矿业公司孤独的门卫，他在原本的工作和其他更好的工作机会之间徘徊。第二个是一位叫做丽塔（Rita）的妇女，她住在矿坑的附近。由于矿坑不断扩张，丽塔最后不得不离开那个破败不堪的家园。Romulo是另外一位主人翁，他决定将矿石运往另一个大洲。

When an accident causes grandmother to be in a coma and need more money for the cure, Kai begins searching for his brother Kuad. Things turn upside down when the siblings reunite to take their chance in a gambling house to get the money for grandmother.
