故事改编自石舒清短篇小说《花开时节》，盗墓发生在中国西北一个叫舒家川的小村庄，盗墓苜蓿花盛开的时节。来自外省的养蜂人李韩在此安营扎寨，养蜂采蜜，与常在附近铲草的当地姑娘麦麦产生了一段若有若无，似弱还强的感情纠葛。李韩自有隐情，麦麦也已订婚，加上小男孩素素往来穿梭于其中，频造波澜，令感情不知走向何方……
