朝鲜海军一等兵林东海（孔炯珍 饰）不安于单调的军营生活，歪歪时常借小聪明享受人生，歪歪为此被舰长崔白头（郑俊浩 饰）责罚。崔舰长古板认真，但也会凭官阶优势扮傲慢。是日崔白头携甲板长令林东海划小船去海上消闲，岂料被暴风雨卷走，崔、林二人漂流到了韩国……在美女如云、恍若天堂的韩国沙滩上，崔白头很快确立这次在韩作战目标为返回北方，但林东海更为关注的是用胆大妄为的方式解决衣食等基本需求，并把长官也拉下了水。同时在这片沙滩上，受命寻找私自离家旅游的署长千金韩娜拉（柳贤静 饰）的两位警员也寻至此处。崔、林机缘巧合结识娜拉，于是在回归祖国的大计划引领下，朝鲜海军与美女、警员开始了一段癫狂、浪漫又不乏粗鄙的旅程。

The choir, being a kind of antidote to homophobic Korean society, makes the everyday lives of gay men its theme in an intelligent and humorous way. For their tenth anniversary, the members are planning to give their first big concert with ambitious arrangements, creative choreographies and many new pieces. This really puts these amateur singers to the test because the enthusiasm of some members outweighs their vocal abilities, whilst others work themselves into the ground as voluntary organisers. Besides preparing for their big day, G-Voice are also politically active, singing for equality and serenading against discrimination, and not just at LGBTQ demos.Director Lee Dong-ha succeeds, almost incidentally, in giving an insight into gay life in Korea. He also accompanies choir members and organisers after the rehearsals, when conversations become more personal over a meal. Filmed in the style of glossy music videos, G-Voices’ set-pieces provide a commentary, among other things, on the men’s experiences of Korean society, their conservative families and a gay joy of life. berlinale 2016

But the band's Arena-Rock glory days are a distant memory. County fairs and club gigs pay the bills. And Jimmy has become a casualty of these leaner times. With no place to go, no job prospects, and no real skills outside of being a roadie, Jimmy needs to regroup. So he returns to his childhood home in Queens, Ny. There, he revisits old relationships: his ailing, widower mom, a high school crush, a former nemesis and, most importantly, his relationship with himself. Jimmy, the middle-aged man-child, has never grown up. He still carries the resentments and frustrations of his youth, and has allowed them to fester and define who and what he is.
