奥利佛是工作勤奋的投资顾问经理，美日但一场严重车祸却让他半身不遂，美日未来将在轮椅上度过余生。但他并不认命，在复健中心休养时，他参加了由各样残疾人士所组成的「金鱼俱乐部」。当他发现自己在苏黎世的非法资金快被曝光时，他想到一个偷天换日的点子：号召这群残疾人士前往苏黎世，掩人耳目将巨款偷偷穿越瑞士和德国的边境。然而「金鱼俱乐部」的成员，却让奥利佛展开一趟惊心动魄的公路旅行。
