奥利维亚（珍妮佛·安妮斯顿）有三个亲密无间的老朋友，熟乱四个女人多年为伴，熟乱无话不谈。随着人到中年，朋友的际遇各有不同，却都已然成家立业：她们一个成为著名的服装设计师，一个是当红剧作家，另一个继承大笔遗产，衣食无忧。相比之下，奥利维亚的生活真是一塌糊涂，她不仅单身未婚，而且刚刚丢了工作，生活陷入困境。虽然带着表面的尴尬与难堪，老友们依然不离不弃，帮奥利维亚介绍工作，介绍男友，却鲜有成效。其实老友们也有自己的烦恼，厌倦工作、厌倦婚姻、厌倦生活，每个人都切实感触着中年的危机与烦恼。奥利维亚游走在大商场，索要着免费的面霜试用装，借着老友的光参加各种高级派对，等待烦恼逝去，等待真命天子的到来。其实不管每个人多有钱，还不是都这样等待着……

Amiko’s unbeaten spirit in the face of tired adults and uncooperative classmates lets us go through the pain, as well as experience flashes of mischievous whimsy, alongside a spiriting musical sequence that will ensure you’ll never listen to a conga drum the same way.
