年轻漫画家费英雄，横财受到老板张鹏的打压，横财郁郁不得志。而他与张鹏却同时暗恋着公司女同事保儿。机缘巧合之下，他正在执笔的新漫画《功夫联盟》中的四大武学宗师——黄师傅、霍大侠、陈阿真以及叶姓神秘人受到费英雄的召唤穿越时空来到了现代。经历诸多磨难和命悬一线的对抗后，宗师们终于帮助英雄完成了梦想，而他们也都回到了属于自己的时代。
