回复 :台湾女孩谢怡佳（夏如芝 饰）在做义工时认识了孤寡老人老水发（林宗仁 饰）。为了帮助老水发圆一个心愿，她来到老水发在大陆的老家——宁州。蓝玫美（霍泥芳 饰）是一家旅行社老板的女儿，她喜欢民间摄影家林德（郑凯 饰），并介绍林德做导游带谢怡佳去寻找老水发的故乡。林德和谢怡佳在接触过程中，渐渐被对方所吸引，但却把那段纯真美好的爱情深藏在心里，双方坚守着“等待彼此”的誓言相互思念对方。结果却发现对方已经……

Together, they form a close friendship until the arrival of Benson Thacker who has managed to pilot his small boat into the city's harbor. At this point the tensions rise between the three, particularly between Thacker, who is white and Burton, who is black.
