一场悲剧性的事故，比比夺走了双胞胎之一的宝贵生命，比比也让瑞秋（泰莉莎·帕尔墨 饰）和丈夫安东尼（史蒂芬·克里 饰），带着幸存的儿子艾略特，从美国搬到世界的另一端，期望展开崭新人生。他们起初在宁静的乡村进行康复治疗，很快却发生不祥的恶兆。艾略特竟在此时告诉瑞秋，原本已经死去的兄弟，正在纠缠着他…。瑞秋能否找出让艾略特痛苦的原因，并试图去对抗这股邪恶的力量呢？
